Foel Ferry - Felin y Foel
(Sleeps 8)
With a stunning location on the banks of the Menai Strait on Anglesey, Foel Ferry Cottages stand with just the coast road and the sea wall separating them from the beach.
Felin y Foel was originally a mill. The upstairs window was put in to hide the line of the hoist. This and the woodwork in the lounge, the sky light in the roof apex and the unconventional access to the two upper rooms all echo its past use. There is an underground stream running along the back of the property which was once accessible using a well.
Plenty for children to enjoy at Felin Y Foel! From the cottage, you can stroll along the Menai Strait, take a walk down the old pier (tide permitting), and enjoy hunting for crabs or fishing for something a little bigger! As well as the proximity to the pebble beach and sea. Felin Y Foel is only a short walk from two of Angleseys main attractions, Anglesey Sea Zoo and Foel Farm Park and Chocolate Shop. Tal y Foel Riding Centre is only a short drive away too. Felin Y Foel provides excellent family holiday accommodation.
