Hen Weithdy - the old workshop - is a charming converted cottage close to Llanfaelog, Rhosneigr. The former carpenters workshop now provides comfortable accommodation with fine views out to the Snowdonia mountain range. An attractive, landscaped front patio garden is complimented by a large rear grassed area. Hen Weithdy is ideally placed within the village and within walking distance of a fine sandy beach at Cable bay.
Hen Weithdy has lots of charm with old timber beams, block flooring and traditional cottage style furnishings. This property is great for year-round breaks and is in an excellent location for access to some of Anglesey´s best beaches and coastal walks with easy access to a good range of restaurants at Rhosneigr.
Kitchen/ dining area
The spacious well equipped farmhouse style kitchen with Belfast sink, electric cooker, integrated fridge and freezer, microwave and toaster. There are double doors leading out to the patio, which is the ideal spot for a morning coffee. The kitchen table seats six comfortably and enjoys attractive views of Snowdonia.
The cosy sitting room has two comfy settees (a two-seater and a three-seater) plus an armchair, a 28in TV with Freeview and a DVD player. There are a selection of games and books on the bookshelves. An ornamental freestanding log burning stove occupies the impressive brick fireplace. The lounge window offers splendid views of Snowdonia.
This downstairs bedroom contains a single bed, bedside cabinet and wardrobe. There is an attractive view across the fields to the mountains beyond.
Downstairs shower room
A walk-in shower, toilet, hand basin and shaver socket are to be found in the downstairs shower room.
The family bathroom is located upstairs and contains a bath, toilet and hand basin.
The upstairs bedroom contains a double bed, built-in wardrobe and inspiring views of the fields and mountains.
Bedroom 3 also looks out on the fields and mountains from its upstairs position. It contains two single beds, a built-in wardrobe and a bedside cabinet.
The lounge has a 28 inch TV with Freeview and a DVD player. There are games and books on the shelves.
Hen Weithdy has a front paved patio area with patio table and chairs and a large lawned garden at the rear provides plenty of space for children to play and has fantastic views over the Snowdonia Mountains. A rear paved patio area, accessed from the kitchen is perfect for a BBQ or just a general sit down with a glass of wine overlooking the scenic views.

Rhosneigr has magnificent beaches and something for everyone, rock pools, sand dunes, water sports and large expanses of sand, perfect for building sand castles. Rhosneigr is a well-established water sport resort with its long sandy beaches and westerly winds that provide perfect conditions for wind surfers, body boarders and kite surfers, or if you visit Anglesey between November and the end of March, why not try the latest fun craze of land yachting using an X-sail, a small three-wheeled land yacht, and see granny shrieking gleefully as she overtakes the grandkids!
Rhosneigr an ideal location for beginners and experts alike, with its surf shops, cafes and knowledgeable residents, happy to pass on their tips! Theres plenty to do in Rhosneigr, an 18-hole golf course and tennis courts are nearby, or for the more adventurous theres the Anglesey Race Circuit at Ty Croes, an outstanding venue for amateurs and professional alike, whether your preference is for two or four wheels.
Miles of sandy beaches and a selection of great restaurants The Oyster Catcher definitely has the wow factor with a stunning interior and great food, Mojos Creperie (the 10 pancake tower is to die for ), Y Morfa, excellent Thai restaurant above a pub! Or for a hearty breakfast and a great cup of coffee you must try Sullivans.
